We offer a 7-day replacement for damaged products

Uh oh! Looks like your sillyScience adventure might have started a bit bumpy. If your book arrives a little worse for wear, don't you worry! We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your sillyScience purchase. Just let our friendly team know within 7 days of receiving your book, and we'll be happy to send a brand new one your way, free of charge!

Eligibility for 7-day replacement

This policy applies to damaged products received within 7 days of delivery. Damage includes: torn or ripped pages, missing pages, or broken binding. This policy does not cover damage caused by misuse or improper handling of the book after delivery. Damage includes: torn or ripped pages, missing pages, or broken binding. Replacements will be sent for the same product originally purchased. If the product is unavailable, we will offer a comparable product or a full refund.

How to Request a Replacement?

Please do not worry. Drop us a mail at hello@sillyscience.in with order id and images of the damaged product within 7 days of receiving the order. Please note that Shipping and COD charges are non-refundable.

Replacement Process

Once your request is approved, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label to return the damaged book. Upon receiving the damaged book, we will issue a replacement and ship it to the original delivery address free of charge within 3 – 5 business days.

Shipping

With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.

How much time do you take to ship?

Shipping timelines varies according to the product. Please refer to the product description for shipping timelines.

Tracking Status

You will get a tracking link in your inbox as soon as your order is shipped. Please allow 24 - 48 hours for the status of the shipment to correctly display at the tracking link.

Requests for putting orders placed “on hold”:

We would not be able to place any orders on hold for future delivery or for any other reason. The order placed by you will be shipped as per schedule, and there cannot be any change in shipment. We will also not be able to promise any delivery timelines.

In the event that the delivery address is not easily accessible, delivery time may be in excess of our estimate as aforesaid. For confirmation of delivery address, we may contact you on your email id or phone number provided by you.


We only make use of reliable courier companies and/or Speed Post. sillyScience is not liable for any delays in delivery by the Courier Company/ Speed Post or on account of any factors beyond the control of sillyScence. We shall endeavor to ensure timely delivery of your order within the estimated time as mentioned in the order confirmation.


In the unlikely event that delivery is not possible for any reasons outside the control of sillyScience, including but not limited to poor courier services in delivery area, inaccessibility of delivery area, force major events as laid out hereinafter, We shall inform you of such inability to deliver and cancel your order, followed by full refund.


What happens if I am not available to receive my parcel?

Should you not be present when our courier attempts to deliver your parcel, our courier partner will make an attempt to reach you via a phone call or SMS. Please ensure that you take calls from our courier partner to facilitate delivery of your package.

A second attempt will automatically be made within 24 hours. After the second attempt, our courier will hold on to the parcel for a few days, awaiting further instructions from you, before returning the parcel to us.


Once the parcel has been shipped back to us, we will automatically cancel that order. The payment made by you towards the cancelled order will be refunded via your original mode of payment.


Also, please note that cash on delivery (COD) is a special service where we ship your order without any pre-payment. We may be forced to discontinue the option of COD in your account should you fail to accept your COD parcel when it is delivered to you.


Are there any conditions on the cash-on-delivery option?

Please note that your cash-on-delivery package will be handed over to you only when complete payment has been made to the courier partner’s representative. Also, please give exact cash to avoid any inconvenience.

What should I do if I have received only a part of my order?

Please mail at hello@sillyscience.in us with the details of missing product but within 3 days of receiving your order. We shall check and get it sorted asap.

My tracking link shows 'delivered' but I have not received the package. What do I do ?

Please drop us a mail at hello@sillyscience.in within 24 hrs of the delivery mentioned in the tracking link. We shall check with the courier service. Please note : We would not be able to investigate with the courier service if it is informed to us after 24 hrs

What do I do if I don't like the product I received?

Here at sillyScience, we want you to be totally happy with your purchase. If something isn't what you expected, just send us a quick email at hello@sillyscience.in. We'll give you easy instructions for returning the product (unopened and in its original packaging) within 7 days of receiving your order. Remember to pack it securely for its journey back to us! However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us so we suggest you obtain proof of postage in case your return gets lost.


And to show our appreciation for your understanding, we'd love to offer you a special coupon code for your next scientific adventure with sillyScience. We don't want the learning fun to stop!


Once your amazing return arrives, our team of sillyScience detectives will carefully check it out. As long as everything is in its original, awesome condition (unopened and with all the tags!), we'll process your refund within 5 business days. The money will be back in your account in 7-10 business days – like a science experiment taking its time, but with a happy ending!


Just a heads up, the cost of sending the product back to us won't be refunded, and any shipping or COD charges won't be included. But hey, that special coupon code we mentioned earlier will definitely help sweeten the deal!

When can I cancel my order?

We know sometimes plans change, silly scientist! If you need to cancel an order before it ships out, just shoot us a quick email at hello@sillyscience.in. We'll do our best to catch it before it zooms off on its adventure! Once an order sets sail, though, it's a bit tricky to stop it mid-journey. We understand if things change, but unfortunately, we can't cancel orders after they've left our happy place.

What about cancellation charges?

For all orders, there will be no cancellation charges or processing fees for the customer upon order cancellation. NOTE: The company has rights to cancel any order with their discretion. You will be provided a refund or credits to the website accordingly, as per the case.

When do I get my refund for the cancelled order?

If the payment was by credit/ debit card or net-banking, the money will be refunded to your credit/ debit card or net-banking account, respectively. Typically, refunds are processed between 7- 12 working days. Please note that we depend on the credit card issuing bank to ensure that the money is refunded to your account. We only control the release of funds from our side. There is little we can do in case there is a delay from the bank’s end. We don't accept COD. Payments via Debit / Credit Cards, UPI and Netbanking are accepted.
